How do Aging and Age-Related Hearing Loss Affect the Ability to Communicate Effectively in Challenging Communicative Conditions?

The authors described a study investigating whether older adults are as able as younger adults to make 'clear speech adaptations' in challenging conditions, whether these adaptations were affected by hearing status and if these adaptations were as effective as those utilized by younger adults.
