The Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physicians will hold its 13th Annual Advanced Learning in Palliative Medicine Conference at the Westin Edmonton from June 1-3, 2017. The conference is a key learning event not just for palliative care physicians, but for family doctors and other physician specialists who want to enhance their knowledge of palliative care. The Walk to Fight Arthritis is The Arthritis Society’s marquee fundraising event. The Walk unites those who feel the emotional and physical pain of arthritis in communities across the country to fund a cure and improve the lives of those living with arthritis.

Wed. June 7th, 2017 at Providence Care Hospital Kingston, join guest speaker Stacy Elliott and others for this educational program for healthcare professionals.  Providence Care staff are eligible for a discount.  Register here.

Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Brescia University College, London Ontario. This conference is a learning and networking event for senior fitness instructors, volunteers, health promoters, students and other individuals who work with community-dwelling older adults. The event includes a mix of active and informative sessions including: practical applications of recent research, tips for safe exercise for older adults, and modifications for all levels of abilities.
